Today, I want to show you how to whip up homemade fast food, a far cry from popular burger joints. It'll be quick, healthy, and outrageously delicious. All you need to start is a cooking bag...

Sometimes, reality hits hard: you can't find the time for elaborate cooking. But does this mean your only options are a pizza delivery or a trip to a nearby fast-food joint? Absolutely not. Today, I'm embracing the concept of "fast food" in a whole new light.

One of the simplest yet most satisfying meals I know involves a cooking bag. I love the convenience of tossing in my choice of meat, vegetables, and spices and then simply letting the oven do its magic for about 50-60 minutes. This approach frees up time for other tasks, and I can always whip up a quick salad for a side. Now, let's dive into the recipe for a delightful oven dinner!

- 3.3 pounds of young potatoes,
- 2.2 pounds of choice chicken (thighs and wings work great),
- A few carrots,
- 1 onion,

- 1 teaspoon of thyme,

- 1 tablespoon of Herbes de Provence,
- Salt and pepper to taste,
- Olive oil.

Preparation:

1. Start by washing the potatoes thoroughly. Slice the carrots into sticks and the onion into thin slices. Toss all the vegetables in a bowl, add the Herbes de Provence, thyme, a bit of salt and pepper, and a tablespoon of olive oil. Mix well.
2. Next, season the chicken liberally with salt and your spice blend.
3. Place the seasoned veggies in the cooking bag first, then lay the chicken on top. Transfer everything to an oven-safe dish. Remember to poke a few holes in the bag to allow steam to escape.

4. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 50-60 minutes. Your delectable oven dinner is ready! Serve with your favourite salad and enjoy a healthy, homemade fast-food meal.

Transform your dinner routine with this simple, wholesome alternative to traditional fast food. It's guaranteed to satisfy your cravings without compromising on health or flavour. Enjoy!
