What do you need to know?

  • In an interview with NBC News, Donald Trump expressed uncertainty about respecting the U.S. Constitution.
  • Trump does not intend to seek a third term. Previously, he mentioned that "there are certain methods" for this. He indicated that his successor could be Vice President J.D. Vance or Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
  • Trump emphasized his stance on immigrants, noting that the courts are making it difficult for him to implement deportation policies.

During the television interview, which will be aired by NBC News, Trump reiterated his stance on immigration, stating that he intends to continue deporting immigrants. "I was elected to get them the hell out of here and the courts are holding me from doing it," the President stated. He added that he cannot imagine the courts having to resolve "millions of cases" concerning immigrants.

Plans regarding Greenland and Canada

The U.S. President did not rule out using force to take over Greenland, although he considered it "highly unlikely" in the case of Canada. Trump suggested that Canada could become the 51st state of the USA, which would be "a state that we would love very much."
