Asian-style zucchini
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 zucchinis
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons sweet and sour sauce
- 1 tablespoon spicy sriracha sauce
- half a teaspoon chili flakes
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
- finely chopped chives for serving
Preparation:
- Wash and cut the zucchinis into sticks, then place them in a bowl.
- Add soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, sriracha sauce, chili flakes, and toasted sesame seeds. Mix to combine the ingredients.
- Heat 2-3 tablespoons of sesame oil in a pan, then add the zucchini drained of the sauce. Sauté them with finely chopped garlic.
- Add the remaining sauce and heat briefly. The zucchinis should remain crispy and firm. Sprinkle with chopped chives before serving.
