On the night of October 3, fires occurred at two oil bases in different regions of Russia, reports "Kommersant".

In at least one case, it was confirmed that the fire was caused by a drone attack.

A Ukrainian drone hit the fuel depot in the village of Anna, according to the Moscow Times. Alexander Gusev, the governor of the Voronezh region, reported that an empty tank was ignited.

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties, and fire brigades immediately responded to the site. He later added that the fire was extinguished when the firefighters arrived.

At the same time, a fire broke out at an oil base in the Perm region. In the industrial area of the village of Osentsy, a fire occurred at a private base used for storing oil products, covering an area of approximately 108,000 square feet. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the flames engulfed fuel tanks.

Firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to private residential buildings, administrative buildings, and dry vegetation. Over 60 people participated in the firefighting operation, using 19 pieces of equipment, notes "Kommersant."

The Ministry of Emergency Situations cited careless handling of fire and electrical equipment failure as the official causes of the fire. The village of Osentsy is located south of Perm, near Bolshoye Savino Airport.
