Donald Trump met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the White House on Monday. The primary topic of their conversation was the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The President of the USA stated that he believes he could end the war in Ukraine "within the next few weeks."

When asked whether Ukraine should cede part of its territory to Russia as part of a peace agreement, Trump responded, "We'll see."

Trump's meeting with Zelensky: a question about Putin was raised

During the meeting with journalists, a question about Putin was posed.

A journalist asked Trump whether he would apply the term "dictator" to Putin after previously using it to describe Zelensky.

The American president responded cautiously, stating that he does not use such terms lightly and suggested that the situation would unfold over time.

However, it was Macron's reaction that caught the attention of internet users. As soon as Trump began answering the question, the French president initially appeared to be pondering how to react. Then he smiled nervously, trying to conceal his true emotions. When Trump spoke about ending the war and peace, Macron nodded.

Macron's visit to Washington
