Kharkiv rocked by drone strikes: 39 civilians injured

Last night, Kharkiv was attacked by drones, resulting in several explosions throughout the city and injuring 39 people.

The initial information about the shelling of Kharkiv was provided by the city's mayor, Igor Terekhov. According to him, the Saltykovsky, Kyivsky, Shevchenkivsky, and Slobidsky districts were also targeted.

During the night attack, Kharkiv was hit particularly hard. The Russians used Geran-2 drones, reported Spartak Borysenko from the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office. He stated that residential buildings, private homes, civilian vehicles, enterprises, and two city hospitals were damaged.

Shortly after midnight, local authorities announced that the number of people injured in the attack was 39. All of the injured are civilians, including children and pregnant women.

Attack on Kharkiv: Services released recordings

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office and the State Emergency Service released footage showing the effects of the Russian drone attack on Kharkiv. The recording depicts damaged high-rise buildings and cars.

Firefighters are still working to extinguish fires that broke out after the explosions, while rescuers are on site providing medical assistance.
