Members of the Anglo-Saxon intelligence alliance, Five Eyes, and services from Israel and Saudi Arabia are considering limiting information exchange with the USA. According to NBC News, this decision is a response to the conciliatory approach of President Donald Trump's administration toward Russia.

The Five Eyes alliance consists of the USA, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

According to NBC, U.S. allies fear that the identity of foreign agents may be accidentally disclosed to Russia.

The station's sources indicate that Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Five Eyes members are analyzing the possibility of changing protocols regarding intelligence sharing. "Those discussions are already happening," said a source with direct knowledge of the talks.

White House National Security Council spokesperson Brian Hughes stated that President Trump is "clear-eyed" about America's adversaries.

"TThe U.S. has unrivaled intelligence capabilities which is exactly why intelligence sharing initiatives such as the Five Eyes exist," he noted.

The USA no longer provides intelligence data to Ukraine

A spokesperson for the British government denied that the United Kingdom is planning to limit intelligence cooperation with the USA. "The U.S. is the UK’s closest ally and we will continue to cooperate closely on defense, intelligence and security matters," he stated.

The Canadian intelligence agency expressed a similar stance, emphasizing "long-standing and resilient" relations with American agencies.

In the context of cooperation with Ukraine, the USA has halted the sharing of intelligence data, including a key link for alerts about Russian missile strikes. This cooperation, developed since 2014, has benefited both parties by providing valuable insights into Russia.

U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz noted that Donald Trump would consider restoring military support to Ukraine if peace talks occur.
