Drones hit strategic Russian sites, sparking major blaze
Drones attacked the airport in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, located in Krasnodar Krai. This is the departure point for the Shahed drones that Russians use to attack Ukraine.
On the night between Wednesday and Thursday, there was a drone attack on the airport in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, situated in the Russian region of Krasnodar Krai. According to Ukrainska Pravda, a nearby warehouse store Shahed kamikaze drones, which the Russians use to launch attacks on Ukraine.

The attack occurred in the airport, where the Shahed drone warehouse is located. Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, confirmed this information. Videos from the scene show a large fire accompanied by plumes of smoke.
Recordings on Telegram depict the fire and smoke over the city, with the sound of approaching drones audible in the background.
This is not the only attack carried out by Ukrainian forces. During the same night, a refinery in Krasnodar Krai also became the target of Ukrainian drones. This marks another assault on Russian fuel facilities this year.
These attacks are part of a broader Ukrainian strategy to weaken Russian military capabilities.
Krasnodar Krai, where the attacks occurred, is strategically important for Russia. It houses key military and industrial installations, making it a target for Ukrainian military operations.
