Car rams bus stop in northern Israel: 10 injured, suspect held

In northern Israel, a car drove into people waiting at a bus stop, resulting in injuries to 10 individuals. The police arrested the suspect and believe it may have been a terrorist attack.

The incident took place near the town of Pardes Channa. Ten people were injured, with one person in critical condition.

Suspicion of a terrorist attack

The car accelerated and hit a group of people waiting at the bus stop, colliding with a nearby police car. The officers "captured and neutralized" the suspect, a 24-year-old Arab citizen of Israel, according to a police spokesperson. The man had no prior criminal record.

Police reports indicate that at least one person is in critical condition, while four or five others sustained moderate to severe injuries. All the injured were taken to a local hospital.

The police categorized the incident as a "possible terrorist attack."
