Zendaya exposed by her half-sister

Zendaya and Tom Holland are one of today's most recognizable couples. Although it might seem that her status and wealth would allow the actress to have almost everything, there are some things money cannot buy. It turns out that relations within her family are likely quite strained—at least that's what her half-sister, Latonja Coleman, claims.

Zendaya's relative spoke with "The Sun" and admitted that they do not maintain particularly close contact. She accused the actress of neglecting the family. She recalls the last time they supposedly saw each other was in January at a funeral, following a long hiatus as they had last spent Thanksgiving together in 2018. Latonja was displeased with how she was treated then.

"When I tried to talk to her, she just gave me a one-arm hug. It felt like I was just a fan"

"Zendaya is very active with my other sister and brother’s kids, but my grandkids don’t even know her. They think she’s just from the Disney Channel," she lamented. "I don’t even tell people anymore that she’s my sister."

"It feels like I’m the black sheep of the family. They’ve pushed me out," she added. "My other siblings don’t care about me, and honestly, I don’t care about them either." But Zendaya is "different," Latonja said before declaring, "She’s my sister, and I love her no matter what."

According to the report, Latonja and Zendaya share the same father but have different mothers: the actress was born to Claire Stoermer, while her step-sister is from the man's relationship with Michelle Mackintosh. Although today she and her famous relative barely speak, during the Thanksgiving holiday they spent together, Latonja even had the chance to meet Tom Holland. He left a positive impression on her, but she also describes him and Zendaya as an "odd couple."

Latonja Coleman said she met Tom Holland at Thanksgiving 2018 and called the star "really really cool."

"He's down to earth and my family likes him. They just look like an odd couple because he's so short and she's so tall. But other than that, I think he’s the one for her."

Coleman also fears that she might not be invited to the couple's wedding, and supposedly, it's fast approaching. However, things take a turn for the worse as she mentions that when she was diagnosed with cancer, she tried to contact Zendaya but was unable to. She claims she had to fight the illness alone and isn't even sure if the family informed the actress about her situation.

Despite everything, she hopes they can renew their contact. Now, taking advantage of the platform of a widely read publication, she appeals:

"I don’t want her money. I just want to be in her life, to show her that I love her and support her."
