It's important to note that many statements from Russian media or government officials are propagandistic in nature. Such assertions are part of the information warfare waged by the Russian Federation.
A significant portion of this funding is earmarked for replenishing American military inventories and facilitating the supply and acquisition of new weapons and ammunition for Ukraine from American defense contractors.
- "It will further enrich the United States of America and ruin Ukraine even more by killing even more Ukrainians because of the Kyiv regime," stated Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, as reported by Russian state news agencies. Maria Zakharova, a spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, also quickly issued a response.
"The US's military aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan will only exacerbate the global crisis," she announced on the Telegram app. She labeled the aid for Kyiv as "direct support for terrorist activities" and criticized the support for Taiwan as "interference in China's internal affairs."
The US elite, regardless of political leanings, are committed to arming the government in Kyiv, "fighting to the last Ukrainian," she remarked. Furthermore, Zakharova argued that efforts to sustain the "Zelensky regime" are bound to fail, asserting, "The objectives of the special operation will be met."
"The United States is effectively committing theft of Russian assets, leading Kyiv to persist in its terrorist acts against the Russian Federation," the statement on the app added.
