Anyone who thinks that a dishwasher serves only one purpose might be startled. Keeping many items clean is often not easy and requires considerable effort to maintain them like new and bacteria-free. Why not consider switching from traditional washing to the convenient solution offered by a dishwasher? Find out which items you can safely place in this appliance!

If you know the list of things that shouldn’t be washed in the dishwasher, you'll be surprised at how many others can safely place there. All pet owners know how cumbersome it can be to clean pet bowls. Instead of tedious scrubbing, rinse them under the faucet and toss them in the dishwasher. This way, your pet will enjoy eating from impeccably clean dishes. Similarly, you can wash a bathroom cup in the dishwasher, which often gets covered with residue. After an appropriate cycle, the grime will disappear.

What else can you place in the dishwasher? For example, baseball caps. After washing in the dishwasher, they'll regain cleanliness without the risk of damaging the material, which washing machines or hand washing often can't guarantee. It's also a good way to clean plastic children's building blocks: all you need to do is place them in a special bag and put them in the dishwasher. Additionally, makeup brushes are great for the dishwasher as it removes bacteria without the need for hand washing.

Perfect shine - These items the dishwasher cleans best

No one enjoys cleaning refrigerator shelves, but taking them out and putting them in the dishwasher after they reach room temperature will save a lot of time. They'll be cleaned and disinfected, ensuring mould has no chance.

  • A pet's bowl will be perfectly cleaned in the dishwasher.
  • Baseball caps can also find a place in the dishwasher.
  • The detergent drawer will wash perfectly in the dishwasher.
  • You can safely wash the range hood filter in the dishwasher.

A similar approach can be applied to cleaning the detergent drawer – chemical residue will easily disappear, leaving it free from mold and odors. Don’t forget about the range hood filter as well. The dishwasher will quickly remove dirt, allowing you to save time for more enjoyable activities.
