Ukrainian drones conducted attacks on strategic targets in Russia, including the Smolensk Aviation Plant, where combat aircraft are produced.

Attacks on refineries and oil depots

Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, emphasized the significance of the attacks on the plants in Smolensk, where Su-25 attack aircraft are produced. "Every strike on such a plant destroys Russia's ability to keep its aircraft combat-ready," Kovalenko assessed.

In the morning report, the General Staff also reported an attack on the Liskinska oil depot in the Voronezh region. "As a result of the strike, tanks with fuel and lubricants used by the occupiers to supply Russian troops are on fire. The facility belongs to one of Russia's largest state corporations, Rosneft," it was emphasized.

"Aggressive signals towards allies." Experts assessed the risks

Ukrainian media also report a drone attack on a refinery in the city of Yartsevo in the Smolensk region. The Ministry of Defense in Moscow reported that air defense systems destroyed 55 Ukrainian drones.
