Ukraine breaches Russian border defenses in bold offensive push

The Ukrainian army boasts another success. In the Belgorod region, it breached Russian border defenses. A video has just been published showing several Ukrainian military vehicles entering Russian territory. Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky provided information on this matter.

The video shows Ukrainians easily crossing a previously dug anti-tank ditch and then driving through a gap in a row of concrete barriers.

According to Ukrainian media reports, the construction of these defenses on the border with Ukraine cost the Kremlin over 10 billion rubles (approximately $116 million). The decision on this matter was made following the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region last summer.

Zelensky confirms: Ukrainians entered Belgorod region

On Monday, President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, presented a detailed report on the situation at the front, including the actions of Ukrainian forces in the Kursk and Belgorod regions.

He noted that Ukraine continues to conduct active military operations in the border areas on Russian territory, which, as he emphasized, is fully justified because the war should return to where it started.

"Today, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported separately on the situation at the front, including our presence in the Kursk and Belgorod regions. We continue to carry out active operations in the border areas on enemy territory, and that is absolutely just – war must return to where it came from," declared Zelensky.

The Commander-in-Chief reported on the activities of Ukrainian units along the Ukrainian border, as well as in the so-called "gray zone" and directly on Russian territory.

"The main objective remains the same: to protect our land and our communities in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions as much as possible from the Russian occupiers," said the president.
