Try this juicy Japanese-style fish that’s simple to make
Fish and vegetables are a very successful duo, as shown by the popularity of Greek-style fish. This dish often graces the tables and is loved for its variety. Building on its popularity, another dish was developed — Japanese-style fish. The concept is similar, and it's worth trying!
What makes Japanese-style fish stand out? It's incredibly juicy because the pieces are coated in pancake batter before being placed in the marinade and vegetables. This technique ensures that the fish doesn't absorb too much marinade, stays firm, and doesn't fall apart. Although the vegetables are different, they are prepared in a manner similar to Greek-style fish.
Japanese-style, but without expensive ingredients
Although the name might suggest a traditional Japanese recipe, no hard-to-find ingredients are needed. Another advantage is that it tastes great, both warm and cold. Cod, salmon, pollock, or hoki are suitable for Japanese-style fish. They can be served with cooked rice or simply with bread.
This dish is perfect for any occasion and a great lunch, dinner, or even a snack option.
