This is the lowest level since the American president took office. Compared to the last survey, Donald Trump lost 2 percentage points. On January 20, at the time of taking office, the politician enjoyed the support of 47% of Americans.
How did Americans assess Trump? The problem is the high cost of living
Donald Trump was harshly assessed by American voters. Only 37% of respondents support his economic policy. The administration's actions on combating inflation and the high cost of living are rated very poorly. Only 30% of Americans view them positively.
More than half of the respondents (52%) believe that increasing tariffs on cars and car parts imported from third countries will harm the economy. This decision is supported by 33% of Americans.
