Donald Trump has issued a new warning to Hamas. As reported by the "Daily Mail," the president's post came after the White House confirmed direct talks with the group to release American hostages and retrieve the bodies of the deceased.

"Shalom Hamas" means Hello and Goodbye - You can choose. Release all of the Hostages now, not later, and immediately return all of the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is OVER for you. Only sick and twisted people keep bodies, and you are sick and twisted! I am sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job, not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don’t do as I say. I have just met with your former Hostages whose lives you have destroyed. This is your last warning! For the leadership, now is the time to leave Gaza, while you still have a chance. Also, to the People of Gaza: A beautiful Future awaits, but not if you hold Hostages. If you do, you are DEAD! Make a SMART decision. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW, OR THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY LATER!" - wrote Trump on his Truth Social platform.

The Trump administration is engaged in talks with Hamas to free American hostages kidnapped during the bloody attack on Israel on October 7th. The special envoy for U.S. hostages, Adam Boehler, is authorized to hold direct talks with Hamas, despite the USA's longstanding practice of not negotiating with terrorist organizations. The talks are taking place in Doha, where previous negotiations for ceasefires and hostages have occurred, but not directly between the parties.

The White House spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, confirmed these talks. The special envoy conducting these negotiations is authorized to talk to anyone. Israel has been informed of this matter. As quoted by the Daily Mail, Leavitt said, dialogue and conversations with people around the world to act in the best interest of Americans are what Americans expect.

Last warning

Trump had previously warned that "hell would break loose" if the group did not release the hostages. A few days later, Hamas released three hostages, including American Sagui Dekel-Chen. Edan Alexander from New Jersey is considered the last surviving American hostage, and his imprisonment has lasted over 500 days. Israel claims that four other American hostages have died in captivity.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio recently utilized "extraordinary powers" to send an additional $4 billion in security assistance to Israel. Trump also met with the released hostages, who thanked him for his efforts to free them. Among them were Iair Horn, Omer Shem Tov, Eli Sharabi, Keith Siegel, Aviva Siegel, Naama Levy, Doron Steinbrecher, and Noa Argamani.
