The series captivated the entire world, dominating the Global Top 10 for nine consecutive weeks as the first non-English language series, and made history by winning Emmy Awards.

In the long-awaited trailer for "Squid Game 2," we see Gi-hun returning to the deadly games. The protagonist, who experienced traumatic events in the first season, decides to enter the game once again to save the lives of new participants. However, his attempts to warn and guide others meet resistance.

One of the most memorable games from the first season, "Red Light, Green Light," returns with a new twist. Gi-hun tries to lead the group by instructing when to run and when to stop. Unfortunately, panic among the players leads to tragic consequences. Gi-hun's efforts are not only ineffective but may also make him a target for both other participants and the game's organizers.

What awaits us in season 2 of Netflix's "Squid Game"?

The second season promises even more tension and emotions. Viewers, aware of the cruel rules of the game, will experience frustration watching innocent players unknowingly head into danger. Gi-hun, attempting to sabotage the game from within, may face numerous obstacles and betrayals.

According to the trailer, not only will "Red Light, Green Light" return in the new season. Gi-hun says, "I've played these games before," suggesting that other competitions known from the first season may repeat. However, fans can also expect new, even more shocking challenges, which are the hallmark of the series.

The second season of "Squid Game" will premiere on Netflix on December 26, 2024. The series promises to be even darker and more intense.
