Spice up your Easter: Try this sriracha mayo twist

The upcoming Easter is once again sparking discussions about mayonnaise, which we eagerly use in holiday dishes. Recently, I've been enhancing this product with an exotic sauce, and the result has won over my loved ones.

The topic of mayonnaise always surfaces before Easter. We debate which brand is best, search for recipes to make it at home, or consider the nutritional benefits of this sauce. One thing is certain—its velvety, delicate taste appeals to most people. However, for me, it's a bit... plain. So, if I have mayonnaise in the fridge, I enhance it with sriracha sauce from Thailand. This creates a spicy, creamy mixture that elevates the flavor of any dish.

Sriracha mayonnaise recipe

Sriracha mayonnaise is an excellent addition to fries, burgers, tortillas, casseroles, and more. It even works well with Easter eggs for a spicy twist. Sriracha sauce is readily available in most supermarkets, so finding it shouldn't be difficult. In the recipe, I also use a clove of garlic, though it's optional. You can substitute lemon for lime if you prefer. It's important to customize the ingredients and their proportions to your taste.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons of sriracha sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of lime juice
  • A pinch of salt

Preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the sriracha.
  2. Add the pressed garlic and lime juice.
  3. Season with a pinch of salt and mix thoroughly.
