Sizzle and scent. KFC launches BBQ‑inspired perfume for fans
KFC has unveiled its first-ever perfume, No 11 Eau de BBQ. This limited-edition fragrance was created to celebrate the launch of the new Ultimate BBQ Burger.
The No 11 Eau de BBQ perfume is infused with notes of smoked wood and charcoal, conjuring the aromas of sizzling spices and marinated meat. With a woody and earthy base, this KFC perfume pays homage to the latest menu addition, which features chicken prepared according to the original recipe, crispy onions, and spicy BBQ sauce, all nestled in a buttery brioche bun.
"No 11 Eau de BBQ captures the mouth-watering scent of our brand-new Ultimate BBQ burger, which allows you to sizzle with every spritz," said Phoebe Syms, Brand Manager at KFC&I. "This one is for the real die-hard KFC and BBQ fans, because who said fragrance can’t also be finger lickin’ good?" Syms assures.
BBQ scent for a better future
The No 11 Eau de BBQ perfume, offered in a 3.4 oz bottle, is available for pre-order on the KFC Shop website for 11 British pounds (about $14). All proceeds are donated to the KFC Foundation, which assists "grassroots organizations across the country that are empowering young people to unleash their potential and build a positive future."
The fragrance has proven highly popular, with all available bottles sold out. For those craving this grill-flavored olfactory experience, KFC has announced another release of No 11 Eau de BBQ for May 7. All previous orders are scheduled to be shipped in the week starting May 6.
