Why does the pan get scorched at the bottom?

The bottom of the pan is particularly susceptible to drying grease. Sometimes we place it on dirty grills or stoves, which can cause its surface to get dirty. Furthermore, when we prepare a dish, the contents of the pan can spill over and end up on the walls and bottom. Additionally, flames or high induction temperatures can damage the external part of the pan.

Accumulated dirt not only looks unsightly but also affects the condition of the pan. Consequently, it becomes less durable, which can lead to food burning more easily. That's why it's important to pay attention to the "dripping" dirt and the condition of our stove. If dirt accumulates, the pan should be washed in warm water with dish soap as soon as it cools down.

A homemade solution for stubborn dirt

Cleaning a pan is not one of the most pleasant tasks, as it can be time-consuming and often results in unsatisfactory results. Unfortunately, dish soap alone may prove ineffective in this battle. That's why it's worth trying the proven method shared by @anetazorganizowana on her Instagram.

1. Sprinkle table salt on the bottom of the pan, covering the entire external surface.

2. Then pour dish soap onto the same area.

3. Generously cover everything with baking soda.

4. Cover it all with several sheets of paper towels.

5. After this step, pour white vinegar over it to soak all the paper.

6. Wait 30 minutes.

7. After this time, you can easily wipe everything off with a paper towel, and there will be no trace of the grease.
