The oven, an indispensable kitchen partner, often becomes a place where grease and food residues accumulate. Regular cleaning is key to maintaining the appliance in good condition and avoiding tedious scrubbing.

Natural ways to keep your oven clean

One of the simplest methods is to use a baking soda and lemon mixture. Combining these ingredients creates a paste that effectively deals with dried-on stains.

Another effective method is to create a homemade spray using vinegar and water. Spray the inside of the oven and then wipe with a sponge. This method not only removes dirt but also disinfects it.

How to effectively use dishwasher tablets?

A less common but highly effective trick is to use a dishwasher tablet. First, place a dishwasher tablet in an oven-safe dish with water, put it in an oven preheated to 212°F, and leave it for about two hours. The steam released during this process softens the grime and burnt-on food, making it easier to wipe off with a regular cloth.

You can also dissolve a dishwasher tablet in a small dish with hot water to create a strong cleaning solution. Apply it generously to the oven using a soft sponge, then place paper towels over the surface and leave them for an hour. After this time, remove the paper and wipe the oven again.
