Serbian president Vucic hospitalized after cutting USA trip short
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, interrupted his visit to the USA and returned to the country. Due to illness, he was hospitalized in a hospital in Belgrade.

Vucic felt unwell during his stay in the USA. As a result, he sought medical assistance, and after undergoing tests, decided to return to his country. Serbia’s public broadcaster, RTS, announced that details regarding the health of the 55-year-old president will be revealed in the coming days.
Meetings in the USA
During his visit to the United States, Vucic met with Rudy Giuliani, the former lawyer of Donald Trump. Before leaving for the USA, the President of Serbia also announced a conversation with Donald Trump.
Trump's special envoy for special missions, Richard Grenell, expressed on Platform X his wishes for Vucic's swift recovery, writing, "I regret that I did not get a chance to meet him." During Trump's first term, Grenell served as the special envoy for the Serbia-Kosovo dialogue.
After completing his visit to the USA, Vucic planned to go to Russia. In April, he announced his intention to meet with Vladimir Putin on the occasion of participating in the military parade on May 9, when Russia celebrates the anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II as "Victory Day."
