For many people, tangled cables can be incredibly frustrating. Despite careful efforts, wires at the workplace often magically tangle into complicated knots. But this problem doesn't have to be your torment – there's an easy way to manage tangled cables. What's the secret?
Trick for tangled cables
A true lifesaver is a cable organizer if you are struggling with tangled cables. You don’t need to spend much money on one. Various professional organizers are available on the market, but you can also easily create one at home. The process is straightforward and doesn't require much effort. This way, your cables will always be in place, and you will avoid frustration.
How to make a homemade cable organizer?
You need two old shoeboxes (of the same size) and scissors to create your organizer. You might find these in your closet, basement, or attic. If not, ask at a shoe store – often, sellers are happy to give away unnecessary or slightly damaged boxes. Once you have the necessary materials, you can start working!
On the @organizacjaprzestrzeni profile on Instagram, you'll find a great guide on creating an organizer from old shoeboxes. By dividing one of the boxes without a lid into four parts, you will get an equal number of cardboard pieces to cut. Then, place them in the second shoebox – they must fit perfectly like puzzle pieces.
After placing all the cardboard pieces inside the box, they will form four compartments – done! Now, organize your cables, untangle them, sort them, and check if all work. If you want your organizer to look nicer, decorate it with colorful paper. If you have many cables, it’s worth making at least two such organizers and labeling them well.
