The Russian Interior Minister reported that five individuals were injured during the incident, with one classmate unfortunately succumbing to their wounds. The girl responsible for the shooting then took her own life, as stated in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The Russian Ministry of Health reveals the critical condition of one of the wounded victims.

Early reports indicate that the student responsible for the shooting was a 14-year-old girl. The SHOT channel on Telegram claims the girl smuggled a Bekas-3 hunting rifle – stolen from her father – into the school within a paper tube.

During the terrifying incident, students and teachers sought shelter in classrooms and barricaded the doors, as revealed by a video posted by RIA Novosti.

The VChK-OGPU channel, reputed to have sources close to the security services, suggests the girl was ostracized by classmates for her refusal to participate in social activities or frequent social media platforms.
