Russian priest calls North Korean soldiers a 'plague' in Ukraine
Soldiers from North Korea are fighting on Russia's side in Ukraine, and it appears there are already some disagreements. A recording featuring a Russian priest has surfaced online, in which he claims that the Koreans "brought a plague to the country" and advises soldiers not to listen to the "devilish words" of non-believers.

In monotheistic religions, there is only one God. In North Korea, the equivalent figure is Kim Jong Un. The country's leader and his regime compel citizens to adopt atheism as the state "religion," essentially the belief that a Creator does not exist. Although there are followers of certain beliefs, including Chondoism—a mixture of many other religions—most North Koreans declare a lack of faith.
These beliefs are unacceptable to the Russian priest, who is the main figure in one of the recordings circulating on social media. He tells gathered soldiers that the Korean soldiers brought a plague to the country upon their arrival.
Russian priest on North Korean soldiers: "Don't listen to them"
Our Korean comrades came from a distant land where they do not believe in God. They brought with them a certain type of plague. God will punish them for that, and us for accepting them into our home. Do not take sin upon your souls. Do not listen to their devilish words, the clergyman appeals to the soldiers.
The Russian clergyman urged showing the way to God to the Korean newcomers. He concluded by stating that the Creator is on the side of the Russians. "The cross is our banner and weapon," the clergyman declared. You can see the recording below.
For several weeks, it has been known that soldiers from North Korea have arrived in Europe to assist Putin's army in the fight against Ukraine. According to reports from Ukrainian officials, the first clashes between the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the North Korean military have already occurred.
