Russian military showcases outdated Soviet-era motorcycle

Russians showcased their "new" equipment: a motorcycle that's over 50 years old. This vehicle was received by soldiers from the 137th Airborne Regiment of the Russian army, often referred to as the "second army of the world." In the video available online, it is clear that the servicemen are struggling to start up the old motorcycle.

Russians fighting in infantry units have repeatedly demonstrated that they do not have access to the most modern equipment in the world. This time, a video appeared online showing soldiers of Putin's army (known as the "second army of the world") presenting a combat vehicle they were given.

The 137th Airborne Regiment of the Russian army received a motorcycle from the years 1965-1970. It's a Ural brand motorcycle, model 1965. The Soviet vehicle looks like it belongs in a museum or at vintage motor enthusiast rallies. Nevertheless, according to Russian commanders' assumptions, it is to be sent to the front lines.

The online video shows Russians attempting to start the vehicle. Starting the old motorcycle requires the involvement of many people and a great deal of patience. The motorcycle most likely hadn't been started in many years, and the Russians found it challenging to get it operational.

According to Anton Herashchenko, a Ukrainian war blogger and former Deputy Minister of the Interior of Ukraine, providing such outdated and ineffective equipment at the front suggests that Russia is running out of modern technological solutions in the military.

Ddue to lack of modern equipment, Russians will be increasing the number of "meat assaults." They will be forced to go on combat missions with very low chances of survival. Putin doesn't care at all about that, stated Herashchenko in a post, in which he shared the video featuring the motorcycle.
