Russian forces push forward in Donetsk amidst heavy clashes
The Russians are advancing in Ukraine in five directions in the Donetsk region: Velyka Novosilka, Rozdolne, Maksymivka, Pustynka, and Toretsk, as reported by the Ukrainian project DeepState.

The Russians launched attacks with several columns, moving west toward Velyka Novosilka and northwest from the occupied Maksymivka. They also occupied areas south of Rozdolne, attacking with drones, and in Pustynka. In Toretsk, they advanced to the Zabalka district.
Changes on the front line are reflected in maps published overnight from Thursday to Friday (November 21–22) by DeepState on Telegram.
Analysts from the project reported a difficult situation in the Donetsk region and Velyka Novosilka, where a column of several armored personnel carriers and tanks has penetrated.
Unfortunately, the defense proved to be unreliable; the enemy sensed it immediately and relatively quickly managed to bring in reserves intended for assaults towards Rozlyv (Kherson region), the report states.
The massive attack occurred a day after Ukrainian intelligence revealed the strategic objectives of the Russian army for the fall-winter period: access to the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
