Russian court hands long sentences to 23 Ukrainians

According to the Polish Press Agency, on Wednesday a Russian court sentenced 23 Ukrainian citizens, including members of the Azov regiment, to prison terms. All were charged with terrorism-related offenses. The sentences range from 13 to 23 years in prison.

The authorities in Kyiv strongly condemned the court's decision, describing the trial as a show trial that violates international legal standards.
