Many statements by Russian media or government representatives constitute propaganda. These reports are elements of the information war waged by the Russian Federation.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has requested the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide a list of countries that supplied weapons to Ukraine, thereby enabling attacks on Russian territory.

Zakharova was responding to a statement from the Latvian diplomatic department, which mentioned that Kyiv had received Western weapons from some partners with permission to "strike the territory of Russia."

"The Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs must produce this list of countries if it is truthful," she stated on her Telegram channel.

According to Ukrainian media, Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže mentioned that Ukraine had received Western weapons from some partners with permission to target Russian territory. "Not everyone announces this publicity, and it's even better not to talk about it out loud until a certain time. The main thing is the impact on the battlefield because there is a choice here: either talk about something loudly or do what needs to be done," Braže commented.
