In my view, chicken wings are an essential addition. They not only taste fantastic but are also a joy to prepare. The best part is that you don’t need complex or costly ingredients to create something extraordinary. A simple yet unique marinade does the trick, and I'm excited to share such a gem with you. Let’s dive in!
My chicken wings marinade impresses the whole family
Ingredients:
- about 1.76 pounds of chicken wings,
- 2.8 ounces of butter,
- 3 tablespoons of brown sugar,
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- about 7 ounces of tomato passata,
- 1 tablespoon of granulated onion,
- 2 tablespoons of dried marjoram,
- 1 tablespoon of sweet paprika,
- 1 teaspoon of salt.
How to prepare:
Step 1. Begin by preparing the marinade. Heat butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup until the butter melts and the mixture blends smoothly.
Step 2. Once the butter mixture is ready, add the tomato passata, crushed garlic, and spices: granulated onion, dried marjoram, sweet paprika, and salt. Stir well with a kitchen whisk to combine.
Step 3. Put the cleaned and dried chicken wings in a large bowl. Pour the prepared marinade over them, ensuring a thorough mix with two spoons for an even coating. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Step 4. After marinating for 2 hours, place the wings on a preheated grill. Cook each side for 10 minutes until they achieve a beautiful golden-brown color.
Step 5. Serve the grilled chicken wings garnished with fresh flat-leaf parsley. They pair wonderfully with various sauces, dips, and a vibrant salad, rounding off the meal perfectly. Enjoy!
