Kebabs are a must-have on the spring menu. They are often the stars of barbecue grills, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy them at home. The following recipe is solid proof of this. Whenever I serve it, it's met with nothing but praise.
Apart from their delicious taste, this dish can be prepared quickly and easily. Marinate the meat, skewer it, and bake it alongside potato boats for a flavor combination that's hard to resist.
With chicken kebabs and potato boats on the table, dinner calls itself
Ingredients:
For the marinade:
- 2.5 oz grated parmesan
- 1.5 tablespoons dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried garlic
- 1/3 teaspoon cumin
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 4.2 US fluid ounces of olive oil
Other ingredients:
- 3 chicken fillets
- about 1.8 pounds of potatoes
How to make it:
Step 1: Begin by preparing the kebabs. Clean and dry the chicken breasts thoroughly before cutting them into smaller pieces and placing them in a bowl.
Step 2: In another container, prepare a homemade marinade with olive oil, grated parmesan, dried oregano, sweet paprika, dried garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Step 3: Mix the marinade ingredients well, then combine them with the chicken pieces. Skewer the marinated chicken onto wooden sticks and set them aside.
Step 4: Next, prepare the potatoes by cutting them into smaller pieces to create vegetable boats. Arrange these at the bottom of a baking dish.
Step 5: In the same dish, place the chicken kebabs on top of the potatoes and drizzle the remaining marinade over them. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes.
Step 6: Garnish the finished dish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite sauce. Enjoy your meal!
