The ingredients are limited to essential items, making both shopping and cake preparation very simple.

The quick oil-based apple cake is best prepared with sour varieties of apples, such as antonówka or gray reneta. Of course, the apples for the dessert should be free from bruises or rot.

Quick oil-based apple cake. Recipe

Ingredients:

                  
  • 4 eggs
  • 6.3 oz of sugar
  • 8.5 fl oz of oil
  • 8.8 oz of flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 2 large apples
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar + 1 flat teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar for dusting the cake

Preparation:

  1. Beat eggs with sugar until a fluffy mass is formed. Then, gradually add oil while continuously mixing.
  2. Sift the flour, add baking powder, and mix with the wet ingredients with a spoon until a thick batter is formed.
  3. Peel and slice the apples, then sprinkle them with cinnamon and powdered sugar.
  4. Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Arrange the apples on the batter.
  5. Bake the cake for 40 minutes at 350°F.
  6. Dust the finished oil-based apple cake with powdered sugar.
