Patties perfected: Millet groats make them a hit
Usually served with potatoes and coleslaw, they are a staple of traditional cooking. However, even the simplest recipes can be improved with small changes. If you want your ground meat patties to be exceptionally juicy, tender, and full of flavor, try adding an unusual ingredient to your meat mixture. Millet groats, though mainly associated with breakfast, give the patties a whole new quality, making them light and nutritious.
The secret lies in millet groats
Ordinary ground meat patties made from pork are tasty, but adding millet groats turns them into a true delight for the palate. Millet groats make the patties fluffy and juicy and provide the body with valuable nutrients like fiber, protein, and B vitamins. This makes our patties not only delicious but also healthy and nutritious.
Why add millet groats to ground meat patties?
- Juiciness: Millet groats absorb fat during frying, making the patties juicier and less dry.
- Lightness: Adding millet groats makes the patties less calorie-dense and more filling.
- Nutritional value: Millet is rich in fiber, improving digestive function, and in protein, essential for muscle building.
- Original taste: The combination of ground meat and millet creates an interesting contrast of flavors and aromas.
