Odessa under siege. Ballistic missile attack ignites major fire, 13 injured

Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Odesa, located on the Black Sea, resulting in a massive fire. The regional head of Odessa, Oleh Kiper, reported via Telegram that 13 individuals were injured.

"Odessa was targeted by an enemy ballistic missile attack, sparking a large fire at the impact site," Kiper noted, mentioning that 13 people sustained injuries.

Reuters news agency shared that social media photos and videos depicted flames and thick black smoke rising near the impact area.

Warehouse of courier company hit

According to reports from Ukrainian news outlets, a warehouse belonging to the New Post courier and postal service was struck. The company acknowledged that the attack damaged its sorting facility, yet thankfully, no employees were harmed or died.

Odessa has faced repeated assaults by the Russian military in the past few days. From Tuesday to Wednesday night, Russian missile attacks resulted in three deaths and injuries to another three people. Moreover, a missile strike on an educational institution on Monday led to five fatalities.
