"Minecraft" is a game that shaped the childhood of many people. Consoles, cubic blocks, resource gathering, building houses, and the first attempts at multiplayer gaming—these memories are certainly close to the younger representatives of Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

Bringing this particular title to the big screen naturally sparked excitement—not only in the hardcore gamer community but also among those who have nostalgic memories tied to Minecraft.

The plot of "Minecraft: The Movie" takes place in the familiar universe full of characteristic, blocky forms and creative freedom. The story focuses on four characters: Garrett, Henry, Natalie, and Dawn, who are unexpectedly pulled from their daily lives into the Overworld—a world full of unpredictable dangers. To find their way back, they must learn the basics of survival. Along their journey, they meet Steve, a legendary craftsman played by Jack Black, who becomes their guide. Their shared adventure will not only help them survive encounters with Piglins and Zombies but also discover the value of creativity, both in the digital world and beyond.

Police at "Minecraft: The Movie" screenings

During international screenings of "Minecraft: The Movie," true riots are occurring. The scene with the Chicken Jockey, in particular, causes a negative frenzy—the crowd goes wild, people scream, throw food, and spill popcorn and nachos. Many videos are circulating online of police interventions. Officers in uniforms enter the cinema to restrain the biggest troublemakers, escorting them out of the theater.
