Lego unveils 'Twilight' Cullen house set for saga fans
LEGO has seriously done it. Fans of "Twilight" can rejoice and start saving because the first set inspired by the bestselling saga will soon be released. Are you Team Edward or Team Jacob?
Now, that's what you call an announcement! Hoa Hoa Hoa Season has just concluded, but it might be about to start again. Imagine a "Twilight" marathon bathed in a blue tint, accompanied by music from Muse, Lykke Li, and Bon Iver, Paramore, Linkin Park—and, of course, "Eyes on Fire" by Blue Foundation as the soundtrack. For a snack, you might gather some mushroom ravioli or a burger with fries and ketchup (a must if you know, you know). Italian cuisine is an alternative option.
This is the perfect setup for constructing the dream block set that LEGO has just created. Hold on tight, spider monkey, because the "Twilight" era is coming back. Thanks to the design by user LobsterThermidor on the LEGO Ideas website, their concept has officially come to life.
The set, LEGO 21354 Twilight: The Cullen House, consists of 2001 pieces and has a list price of $219.99. It features the three-story Cullen family house. The set includes Bella's red pickup truck and Jacob's wolf form as a fun addition.
Bella, look. It's a LEGO Cullen House!
Photos of the set look impressive. "Twilight" fans can recreate many iconic scenes from the first movie. The details are fantastic: Edward's room has no bed (but there are specific vinyl records). You also see a piano, a display of graduation caps—a great touch—and a show kitchen. You must reenact the iconic moment: "Is she even Italian? Her name is Bella."
LEGO Cullen House includes seven minifigures: Bella, Edward, Alice, Carlisle, Rosalie, Jacob, and Charlie. The vampires have two expressions—dark eyes (indicating hunger) and light eyes (indicating they are sated)—so you can decide if they have a particular craving for Bella's blood while she's visiting.
The set debuts on February 1st. Get ready to squeal.
