Kremlin showcases "promising" new cruise missile amidst tensions

The Kremlin released footage of the new cruise missile, claiming its performance and innovative weapon system are "promising." Dmitry Medvedev, the former president of Russia, observed the tests.

The "Lad Bible" portal notes that little is known about Russia's new weapon. The missile was displayed at the Kapustin Yar test range in the Astrakhan region. According to military experts, it doesn't resemble any Russian weapon used to date.

The innovative missile has a design reminiscent of a bird's beak. Though not tested on camera, Russian military officials claim its power is "enormous." The "Lad Bible" suggests the missile is likely a prototype intended for a propaganda display of strength against Ukraine and the USA.

In addition to the cruise missile, Medvedev, now serving as the deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, also witnessed tests of other weapons. Kremlin officials and military personnel were notably impressed by the performance of Russia's artillery.

The tests and presentation of the new weapon could surprise the Donald Trump administration. The President of the USA recently urged Vladimir Putin to stop shelling Ukraine. This appeal came after Russian attacks on Kyiv, resulting in nine deaths and 70 injuries, all of whom were civilians.
