The President of Ukraine is trying to persuade Donald Trump to continue supporting the Ukrainian army. Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly expressed skepticism about the American president's peace plans and emphasized mistrust toward Vladimir Putin's intentions.

Zelensky is trying to reach Trump not only through direct talks but also through American public opinion and the voters of the current President of the United States.

In the past, he has given interviews to Fox News, a conservative station. Now he has participated in The Ben Shapiro Show, a program hosted by right-wing journalist Ben Shapiro.

During the recording, Volodymyr Zelensky made an appeal to Americans. The Ukrainian president emphasized that American citizens should understand the situation regarding the war and recognize that it also affects them. He also pointed out that Ukraine and the USA have a common enemy.

We are fighting for your rights and values, just as for our own. We are fighting Russians - your enemy, not your friends. We want to have this understanding in the US: we are partners, said Zelensky, when asked about the issue of the war with Russia and expectations towards the USA.
