Israel consults with the US before launching the Gaza offensive

The White House confirmed that Israel consulted with the United States before launching a mass bombing campaign on the Gaza Strip. "All those who seek to terrorize not just Israel, but also the United States of America, will see a price to pay. All hell will break loose," said the spokeswoman.

From Monday to Tuesday Eastern Time, Israel began bombing the Gaza Strip. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz announced the end of the ceasefire and declared the resumption of the war in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli military reported that the Israel Defense Forces and Shin Bet are currently conducting extensive attacks on Hamas terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli media reported that Katz said, "the gates of hell will open for Gaza" if Hamas does not release all hostages held in Palestine. "We will send forces against Hamas like never seen before," added Israel's Defense Minister.

An anonymous Israeli military official told Reuters that the Israeli offensive will continue as long as necessary and will extend beyond air attacks, which could signify the return of Israeli ground forces to the Gaza Strip.

The White House knew

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told Fox News that the massive attack was coordinated with the Trump administration. "As President Trump has made it clear - Hamas, the Houthis, Iran, all those who seek to terrorize not just Israel, but also the United States of America, will see a price to pay. All hell will break loose," she said.

She stated that groups such as the Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas, Iran, and Iran-backed militant organizations should take President Trump’s words seriously, emphasizing that he is committed to defending law-abiding people and ensuring the security of the United States, as well as its ally, Israel.

USA strikes Yemen

At the same time, American forces continue their offensive against Iran-supported Houthi rebels in Yemen.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Saturday the commencement of a "decisive and powerful" military operation against the Houthis. Since fall 2023, the rebels have conducted over 100 attacks on ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, disrupting transport on this key maritime route.

Houthi leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi announced the continuation of attacks on American ships in the Red Sea until the United States stops airstrikes on Yemen. On Sunday, the Houthis claimed they had launched missile attacks on the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and its accompanying ships. On Monday, they reported another attack on this carrier.
