Indulge your sweet tooth with Kinder Bueno-inspired crepes

Sweet crepes are a beloved meal and afternoon snack for all generations. Instead of filling them with jam or cottage cheese, I opt for a different filling. Sweet lovers will be in seventh heaven.

Some people prefer raspberry jam, others mix cottage cheese with sugar and egg yolks, and there are fans of chocolate and banana combinations. However, my latest discovery is crepes inspired by the iconic Kinder Bueno bar. No sweet tooth can pass them by.

Kinder Bueno crepes

"Bueno" in Spanish means "good," and it perfectly captures the essence of this dish. It's a dessert that brings the flavor of the popular candy bar to the universally loved crepes. The combination of delicate pancakes with a creamy, nutty filling reminiscent of the Kinder Bueno bar's interior is a sweet bullseye.

The crepe batter and filling can be enhanced with a splash of coffee liqueur or a tablespoon of strong espresso. However, if you want to serve Bueno crepes to children, just use cocoa. The highlight is the delicious cream filling with cottage cheese, powdered milk, cream, and, of course, ground hazelnuts. It's worth toasting the hazelnuts beforehand to bring out their deep flavor and aroma. If you have hazelnut paste, add it to the mixture. You won't regret it.
