India-Pakistan on edge: Pakistan warns of imminent attack
The Minister of Information in Pakistan has issued a warning about a potential Indian military attack, stating that Pakistan has reliable intelligence concerning this matter.
According to Attaullah Tarar, India plans to initiate a military attack within the next 24 to 36 hours. He added that the country has reliable intelligence on this issue.
"Any act of aggression will be met with a decisive response. India will be fully responsible for any serious consequences in the region," he stated.
Tensions rise as Pakistan shoots down Indian drone
Tensions between the countries have escalated following an attack in Pahalgam, responsibility for which has been claimed by the Kashmir Resistance group.
The attack was among the deadliest in the region in recent years. At least four armed assailants opened fire on tourists in the Baisaran meadow, popularly known as "mini Switzerland."
Pakistan also claims that it has shot down an Indian spy drone that appeared over the disputed border in the Kashmir region. Conversely, India accuses Pakistan of supporting terrorist groups in Kashmir, a claim that Pakistan strongly denies.
According to foreign media reports, including those from the "Economic Times," India is considering the closure of its airspace to Pakistani aircraft.
Both countries remain on high alert, and Indian security forces are conducting operations in Kashmir in pursuit of the attack's perpetrators.
