Step 1. Begin by preparing the sponge cake. Separate the egg whites from the yolks, beating the whites until stiff. Gradually incorporate the sugar and yolks into the beaten whites.

Step 2. Sift the cake flour, baking powder, cocoa, and add the finely chopped dark chocolate to the egg mixture.

Step 3. Pour the mixture into a baking pan and bake in a preheated oven at 347 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
