When we crave cake in the fall, the first thought is often apple pie. Apple-based baked goods are the most popular during this time of year. Delicious and aromatic, they perfectly fit the autumn mood. Moreover, some of them can be ready faster than you might expect. Here's one of them.

The best tart

Everyone absolutely loves baked goods with apples, and few refuse a second helping, especially when it's a warm portion. They uplift your mood even while still in the oven. The pleasant smell of apples and spices makes autumn more pleasant.

But it's simple

Even people who have never baked a cake can handle this one. The ingredients are simply measured with a spoon and then mixed with a mixer. That's why it's often called the "10-Spoon Apple Pie." You only need to peel the apples and slice them thinly—no need to pre-cook them. You can just season them with cinnamon.

10-Spoon Apple Pie

Ingredients:

  • 10 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 10 tablespoons of oil
  • 10 tablespoons of sugar
  • 3 apples
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Cinnamon to taste

Preparation method:

  1. Peel the apples and remove the core. Slice them thinly. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with cinnamon, then mix.
  2. Place the apples at the bottom of a baking pan lined with parchment paper with a diameter of 8 inches, or arrange them on the cake batter.
  3. In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, oil, both sugars, eggs, and baking powder. Mix just until the ingredients are combined. The batter should be quite thick and uniform.
  4. Pour the batter over the prepared apples. If you prefer to arrange the fruit on the batter, now is the time for that step.
  5. Place the cake in a preheated oven at 350°F and bake for about 45 minutes.
  6. Take the apple pie out of the oven. If you want the apples on top, flip the cake while it's still warm but not hot.
