You only need to peel the apples and slice them thinly—no need to pre-cook them. You can just season them with cinnamon.
10-Spoon Apple Pie
Ingredients:
- 10 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 10 tablespoons of oil
- 10 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 apples
- 4 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- Cinnamon to taste
Preparation method:
- Peel the apples and remove the core. Slice them thinly. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with cinnamon, then mix.
- Place the apples at the bottom of a baking pan lined with parchment paper with a diameter of 8 inches, or arrange them on the cake batter.
- In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, oil, both sugars, eggs, and baking powder. Mix just until the ingredients are combined. The batter should be quite thick and uniform.
- Pour the batter over the prepared apples. If you prefer to arrange the fruit on the batter, now is the time for that step.
- Place the cake in a preheated oven at 350°F and bake for about 45 minutes.
- Take the apple pie out of the oven. If you want the apples on top, flip the cake while it's still warm but not hot.
