Dual Russian Armored Transports Hit Mines in Ukraine; Key Air Asset Lost

This striking footage was shared by the media, illustrating both vehicles rolling over the mines together, resulting in massive explosions and billowing smoke.

The video, released by the OSINT Technical profile on the X platform, originated from the area around Stepove in the Avdiivka region. It features two Russian BTR-80s spaced several dozen yards apart, simultaneously triggering TM-62 mines. This led to the synchronized detonation of these machines belonging to the Russian Federation.

The biggest setback for the Russian air forces occurred on February 23. That day, over the Sea of Azov, Ukrainian forces successfully downed a Russian A-50 long-range radar detection airplane, marking it the second such loss.

All ten crew members aboard the aircraft perished. The team included five majors, three captains, a warrant officer, and a lieutenant, as reported by Ukrainian Pravda, referencing a Ukrainian military intelligence source (HUR).

This incident dealt a significant blow to the Russian air forces, stripping them of one of their key assets.
