After 6 PM Eastern Time on Tuesday, reports emerged of an attack on the oil depot in the city of Kropotkin. At least three explosions occurred.

A fire erupted at the drone crash site, covering an area of about 215 square feet, and the pipeline between the tanks sustained damage. The fire was classified as having a fourth level of difficulty rating. A team of 105 people and 45 units of equipment are working on-site to manage the situation.

Thirty employees were evacuated from the location, and the company's operations have been suspended.

Ukrainian Telegram channels report that the depot serves as a transshipment station for oil exports in the Russian Federation.

Russia attacked after the talks

Shortly after the phone conversation between Trump and Putin concluded, an alert was announced in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The reason was a massive attack by Russian Shahed-type strike drones.

The alarm in Kyiv was announced after 1 PM Eastern Time, and soon thereafter, explosions and sounds of anti-aircraft gunfire could be heard. More explosions and bursts of heavy machine gun fire, used to bring down the drones, were heard after 4 PM. Many hours later, the alarms persisted. In numerous regions of Ukraine, anti-aircraft defenses remained in operation.
