The phrase "May the 4th be with you" also refers to the already iconic line "May the Force be with you," which recurs in the film series.

The date of publication is not coincidental. May 4th is an unofficial holiday for Star Wars fans. The date was chosen from the phonetic transformation of the film's phrase "May the Force be with You!" which sounds similar to "May the 4th be with You!"

The White House, in a previous post, also highlighted that "on May 4th, 1942, the Battle of the Coral Sea began, resulting in a monumental victory for the Allied forces and becoming a turning point in the Pacific during World War II."

This is not the first instance where the American president's administration presents surprising or even controversial posters.

Late Friday evening, Trump posted on social media a graphic where he is seated on a gilded chair in a white papal cassock. This is a clear reference to his words a few days ago when he joked about wanting to become the pope.
