If you can't imagine your mornings without a black brew, try golden coffee, which is coffee with added turmeric. It may seem simple, but when used regularly, it can positively affect your mood and give you an energetic boost.
What are the properties of turmeric coffee?
Curcumin present in turmeric inhibits the activity of inflammatory factors, thereby reducing inflammation in the body. Curcumin also affects the levels of neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine, which are responsible for regulating emotions and motivation. In contrast, the caffeine present in coffee stimulates the nervous system and improves concentration and memory. Golden coffee can therefore be an excellent addition to your mornings.
It's worth mentioning that golden coffee alleviates digestive problems and supports weight loss due to curcumin. Research shows that curcumin can influence fat metabolism. It activates enzymes involved in the breakdown of fat cells, potentially supporting the process of burning excess fat. Meanwhile, the coffee itself stimulates intestinal peristalsis.
Golden coffee, or coffee with turmeric. Recipe
Preparing turmeric coffee is incredibly simple, but it's worth enriching the drink with other spices. Moreover, research published in the scientific journal "Molecules" indicates that for better absorption of turmeric, it’s advisable to combine it with milk or cream. This is due to the fat present in such a drink, which affects the absorption of curcumin. Turmeric is also recommended to be combined with pepper. The addition of piperine contained in pepper increases the absorption of turmeric in the intestines, enhancing its effectiveness.
