A breadcrumb coating is one of many ways to achieve a golden and crispy layer on chicken pieces. Another intriguing idea is to mix the breadcrumbs with cornflakes. Crush them with a mallet or blend them into a powder. If you want to enhance the snack with a cheesy accent, you can add sesame seeds, crushed walnuts, or grated Parmesan to the coating.

Not just chicken in sesame coating

You can fry almost anything to achieve a golden coating. Combined with sesame seeds, seafood such as shrimp or calamari is great. You can also coat pieces of fish, tofu, or even mozzarella balls this way.

In Japan, vegetables fried in tempura, a light batter, are a popular snack. In China, fried ice cream with a coconut coating is served as a dessert.

Refined coconut oil is best for frying chicken to a golden color, as it maintains stability at high temperatures. You can substitute cow's milk for coconut milk.

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • Seasonings: salt, pepper, sweet and hot paprika
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Clean the fillets of membranes or any bones. Cut into smaller pieces, such as strips, and then mix with seasoning.
  2. Pour the milk into one bowl and mix the breadcrumbs with sesame seeds in another.
  3. Dip the chicken pieces in the milk, then the breadcrumbs and sesame mixture.
  4. Fry in a pan with a generous amount of well-heated oil.
