A tragic air strike hits Kharkiv's heart, building in ruins.
The city of Kharkiv came under air attack, most likely from guided bombs, as reported by the city's mayor, Ihor Terechow. This unfortunate event resulted in the death of at least one individual.

"The heart of Kharkiv was targeted, resulting in the destruction of several buildings, leaving people trapped under debris. Efforts to search and rescue those affected are currently in progress," Mayor Terechow shared on his Telegram channel.
He added that, according to initial reports, there has been one fatality and another individual injured.
Earlier, Oleg Syniehubov, the head of the regional authorities, indicated that the Russian assault on the city likely employed aerial-guided bombs.
"A private residence was engulfed in flames. We are in the process of confirming details about the casualties," the official noted.
